I had the opportunity to experience this ah-mazing treatment and wanted to give you an “insider’s” look on the fabulous ARCONA Studio and the cutting edge Red-Carpet Radiance Treatment.
THE STUDIO
Upon entering this skincare sanctuary, I immediately noticed two things: the super-friendly staff and the neat displays filled with skin-saving treasures, ARCONA skincare products. I was kindly greeted by the lovely ladies at the front desk, offered a delicious selection of cucumber water and tea — and immediately brought in “behind the scenes” where skincare magic happens. I was invited to take a seat in a beautiful open room which felt like a soothing skin-haven that I lounged in while waiting. Since it was my first time visiting The ARCONA studio I was asked to fill out some forms which were not only helpful in explaining the enzyme peel that was going to be performed but also asked a few skincare history questions which proved to me that ARCONA is fully invested in getting to know your skin’s history and concerns for a thoroughly effective and enjoyable experience.
As I waited, I sipped on the refreshing cucumber water and relaxed in the swanky setting. The waiting area is very calming, filled with cozy cream chairs, chocolate-colored furnishings and sea-glass colored accents. The décor is visually pleasing and stunning: the color combo of creamy white with chocolate and sea-blue is beautiful and the single-white roses in sea urchin-like vases along with the carefully placed sea shell decorations give it a calming coastal charm. What’s more, the natural elements, including the fresh flowers, cucumber water and seashells, sea stars and sand dollars throughout emphasize ARCONA’s commitment to using natural products — and its beautiful beach vibe works in harmony with its Santa Monica seaside setting.
THE FACIAL
The Red-Carpet Radiance Treatment is a luxurious 80 minute treatment that includes a Brightening Facial with Contour, plus Hand, Eye and Lip Treatment, LED and Oxygen spray. My facialist Brandi Brown was very friendly and extremely dedicated to ensuring my comfort and tending to my needs. Like Brandi, all facialists at ARCONA are extremely gifted skin-savers that are not only knowledgeable but very helpful and patient in explaining the treatments they’re performing step-by-step.
My facialist led me to a neat and tranquil dim room that filtered out soft ambience music that was soothing. She then left the room for a moment so that I could change into a soft robe and slip into the warm and cozy bed to begin the treatment. The facial began with my skin being cleansed with the deliciously-smelling and ultra-soothing ARCONA Triad pads to clean and prep my skin for the enzyme peel. Next with the steam helping to soothe and open up my pores, a pleasant-smelling organic enzyme peel was carefully placed over my face to help exfoliate, dissolve dead skin, thoroughly clean my pores and promote cellular renewal. This stimulating yet soothing treatment gently tingled a bit as I immediately felt the sense that my skin was being deeply cleansed, repaired and renewed. While the peel worked its magic, my facialist gave me a heavenly back and neck massage and treated my hands to the enzyme peel as well. My hands received the “royal treatment” throughout with not only the activating enzyme peel but also a mask and serum, all followed by a divine massage which left my hands baby-soft and younger-looking. I was also treated to Facial Contouring, a deep facial massage which was both invigorating and relaxing — and aimed at toning and tightening my facial muscles using acupressure to promote lymph drainage for a more youthful appearance. This Contouring exercise is an excellent way to combat aging and defy gravity without having to undergo cosmetic surgery or use harsh chemicals. I also received eye and lip treatment which gave gentle yet targeted attention to the most delicate parts on my face, helping to repair and rejuvenate these areas for a smoother, younger and healthier appearance.
My skin was then treated with LED therapy, my eyes were softly covered as I sensed a gentle yet bright light come over me which felt soothing. This amazing LED therapy helps to kill bacteria, stimulate collagen production, boost lymphatic drainage from the contouring and helps repair skin. Finally, I was spritzed with a refreshing Oxygen Spray and enjoyed a cooling Oxygen Therapy Treatment which the facialist explained was both hydrating and penetrating, as she strategically maneuvered the serum over my skin, treating it with nourishing vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes to give me a gorgeous glow. ARCONA even sent me home with a goodie bag of samples perfectly personalized for my skin and to help the treatment continue to work its magic at home.
THE ACCOLADES
The Red Carpet Radiance Treatment was a heavenly experience fit for a Queen and my facialist Brandi Brown was the best! After receiving the treatment I immediately noticed my skin more radiant, softer and younger-looking. My skin glowed, the texture was soft, my pores were diminished and fine lines were long gone. What’s more, my hands, lips and eyes received love too- my hands feel super-soft to the touch and are smooth, my eyes look more rested and have a youthful appearance sans those pesky fine lines, and my lips are smooth. Overall, the treatment is skin-transforming and a must-have experience to book that delights your senses and repairs and renews your skin for a radiant, rejuvenating and beautiful appearance.
