Red Carpet Gel Manicure made its catwalk debut at New York Fashion Week (Photos)

Fashion Week is back in New York, showcasing the hottest designs for fall 2013 with the latest trends in beauty, stylish nail art using gel nail polish. Red Carpet Manicure, the favorite at-home DIY gel manicure kit, made its catwalk debut today, Feb. 7, during New York Fashion Week, with contemporary designer, Nicholas K at The Studio, Lincoln Center, New York City.

Red Carpet celebrity manicurist, (and Beyoncé’s go-to girl for all things nails), Lisa Logan, who manicured the diva’s tangerine tips for her Inauguration performance, created the edgy-chic glitter dipped talons with all of the hottest shades for autumn, complementing the Nicholas K 2013 Fall Collection.

Lisa Logan collaborated closely with Nicholas and Christopher Kunz to design a stunning, earthy Red Carpet Manicure look for today’s catwalk debut. The celebrity manicurist used Rihanna's personal favorite gel nail polish color, "Black Stretch Limo" and brand new RCM gel shades including "Diva In Disguise" and "Always Slate Never Early". She then dipped each tip in fine cut glitter that can be found in the Red Carpet Manicure Gems & Jewels Nail Art Kits.

Rest assured there is no danger in using the Red Carpet Manicure at-home DIY gel manicure kit, even with the recent media attention surrounding the safety of the UV lamp and the gel nail polish removal process. RCM uses the LED lamp, which was recommended in the report from “The Dr. Oz Show” and orange wood sticks and aluminum wraps to remove the gel nail polish, rather than soaking the fingers in acetone for long periods of time and metal instruments to scrape away the excess, which also came under fire during the investigation of gel manicure safety.

Red Carpet Manicure is a safe DIY gel manicure kit to use in the comfort of the home with delightful colors and tips to create dazzling nail art, the latest beauty trend. RCM gel manicure kits can be found on Long Island at Ulta Beauty in Garden City and Levittown.
