So Red Bull has an interesting approach to advertising. Rather than spend a ton of money on boring billboards and old school advertising they choose to do cool stuff. Cool stuff? Yeah things so cool and borderline weirdo that I am sure they get more attention then a silly ad. Flugtag for example. Driving a homemade airplane type creation off an aircraft carrier into the harbor? Possibly one of the coolest things Red Bull did was their Stratos Project. Felix Baumgartner jumped 128,000 feet from space with only a parachute. Things like that will keep people talking about your brand for years. Very smart marketing.
Keeping in line with this formula Red Bull presents the Red Bull Daily Grind. They took a normal office space in Downtown Chicago and added a few skateable elements so Plan B professionals Ryan Sheckler and Felipe Gustavo could get shreddy. They also brought the star of Red Bull's Manny Mania manual pad contest series Joey Brezinski. Red Bull team riders Sewa Kroetkov, Corbin Harris, Alex Midler, Ryder Lawson and Gard Hvaa managed to make it into the office on the day of the video shoot! This video is awesome for a few reasons. Number one is the skating is amazing. Some of the best skateboarders in the world with weirdo obstacles suited perfectly for their unique talents. Second is they left the office staff in the building. That definitely made the video. Take a minute and definitely watch it you wont be disappointed. - Jason Chapman The National Skate Examiner
