Taking place on Aspen Mountain from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., the 12-hour endurance running event will challenge competitors to contend for the highest number of laps on the three-mile course.

With more than 3,000 vertical feet of climbing, racers will run up the mountain and then take the 14-minute ride down the Silver Queen gondola to complete one lap. Competitors will compete in solo, duo and team divisions.

Registration is now open at https://endurancecui.active.com/event-reg/select-race?e=9430652. The cost to register starts at $75 per person and will increase to $95 per person after today. Registration cost includes professional timing, aid station support, lift passes, finishing medal and a custom event t-shirt.

For the winners who complete the most laps up-and-down Aspen Mountain, first place takes home $1,250, second place $750, third place $500, fourth place $300 and fifth place $200 in both the men’s and women’s solo divisions.
