MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli Sports have announced a multi-year agreement with Red Bull, to become the “Official Energy Drink of Pro Motocross” for the upcoming Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing.
“We couldn’t be more proud to welcome Red Bull to the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship,” said MX Sports Pro Racing President Davey Coombs. “Their presence within action sports and motorsports speaks for itself and with their commitment, Pro Motocross is sure to reach new heights this season and beyond.”
The partnership will be highlighted by Red Bull title sponsorship at three of the 12 national events this summer:
- Budds Creek (June 16)
- RedBud (July 7)
- Unadilla (August 18)
In addition to serving as the primary sponsor for the KTM factory team and Troy Lee Designs, Red Bull also supports some of the sport’s most recognizable names, including James Stewart, Ryan Dungey, international superstars Ken Roczen and Marvin Musquin, as well as, Women’s Motocross athletes Ashley Fiolek and Tarah Geiger.
“It’s so great that Red Bull will be the official energy drink of Pro Motocross,” said three-time and reigning Women’s Motocross Champion, Ashley Fiolek. “Red Bull’s support and passion for motocross is so strong and I know it will be felt at the races!”
With four former Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Champions set to line up on the start gate this May, the anticipation for the 2012 season is at an all-time high. In addition to the premier 450 Class, the young superstars of the 250 Class and Women’s Motocross Championship are set to provide a high level of competition all summer long.
