RED BAND TRAILER FOR KISS OF THE DAMNED (Photos)

How about that word huh? “The Damned.” Could mean many things in our world of horror but for the film Kiss Of The Damned we are talking about vampires. In this post sparkly vampire era we see that the creatures of the night are still on the romantic side but also showing more bite. I’m curious to see Kiss because then look and feel of the film reminds you of some of the films from the 60’s and 70’s in the European market. Looks like this slated for a VOD and limited theater release but I have the Red Band Trailer here.

“ KISS OF THE DAMNED is the story of Djuna (Joséphine de La Baume), a beautiful vampire who tries to resist the advances of the handsome, human screenwriter Paulo (Milo Ventimiglia) but eventually gives in to temptation. When her troublemaker sister Mimi (Roxane Mesquida) arrives unexpectedly, Djuna’s love story is threatened, and the whole vampire community becomes endangered.”

The poster and trailer looks very well done so I’m curious on the reaction to the vampire fans with this approach. Kiss of The Damned was directed by Xan Cassavetes and stars Joséphine de La Baume (One Day), Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes), Roxane Mesquida (Rubber) and Riley Keough (The Runaways). It will premiere in the midnight line up of SXSW with a VOD release in March and limited theater showings starting May 3rd.
