Looking for a way to give back this holiday season?  Searching for some unique artwork for your home, bike, or back pocket?  Itching to get your hand on one of those orange Dutch bikes?  Look no further.

On December 14, Recycle-A-Bicycle will be holding its crystal anniversary of providing youth training, environmental education, and bicycle advocacy with a 15th Birthday Celebration and Bike Art Benefit from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Superfine, a Downtown Brooklyn restaurant at 126 Front Street, between Jay and Adams Streets.

Throughout the fall, Recycle-A-Bicycle has accepted donations of bicycle-related art, in addition to holding Bike Art all-ages workshops on Thursday evenings from 7-9 PM.  Workshop projects ranged from wallets, belts, bags, jewelry, and picture frames, all made from recycled materials provided by Recycle-A-Bicycle.  Participants had the choice of keeping their projects or donating them to the benefit.  Donations of bike art, such as paintings, sculpture, painted bikes, furniture, or wearables will still be accepted through December 4th at their 35 Pearl Street, DUMBO location.  Art will be sold via silent auction at the festival.

As for the unique Batavus NY400 bikes, the twelve available have all been autographed by renowned supporters of cycling such as Matthew Modine, David Byrne, and Janette Sadik-Khan. Ten will be sold during a live auction.  One will be included in the silent auction, and one will be raffled off as a door prize.  The rest of the fleet will go towards Recycle-A-Bicycle's youth-oriented programs.

Admission donations are staggered from $20 and above, which includes food and two drink tickets.  For more information, contact Pasqualina Azzarello at 718-858-2972 or email director@recycleabicycle.org.
