As homeschoolers, sometimes we get so caught up on our own routines, that we forget to add new fun and seasonal activities to our schedule. With that said, here are a few activities for your to consider for December 2012.
The Center for the Puppetry Arts is doing an educational version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Through December 16, show times are Tues-Fri: 10am & 11:30am, Sat: 11am, 1pm, & 3pm, and Sun: 1pm & 3pm. Showtimes for Dec 18 - 30, 2012: are Tues-Fri: 10am, 12pm, & 2pm, Sat: 11am, 1pm, & 3pm, Sun: 1pm & 3pm. For an additional $4.00, you can see a behind the scenes workshop. The Rudolph workshops are Dec 1-2, Dec 8-9, Dec 15-16, Dec 18-23, and Dec 26-30. Group rate tickets are almost half price, so you will want to go with other homeschooling parents.

Holiday Kids Night Out events will give the parents some time to shop while the kids are safe and having fun. There are two dates and locations. On Friday December 14, at 6pm, the event will be held at John's Creek Presbyterian Church. On Saturday December 15, it will be at St. James Methodist Church in Dunwoody. The children can take part in a talent show, or lounge in a sleeping bag and watch movies.
