I got a chance to chat with Dawn Gallagher and she offered these six simple beauty tips that are perfect for the gal on the go who wants to Get Gorgeous!
- Olive oil, almond oil and avocado are wonderful penetrating oils for the skin. Add a few drops of Lavender or Ylang Ylang.
- Cucumber is wonderful for clearing blemishes and is a natural soother for sunburn.
- Dab a small amount of honey directly on a blemish to help it disappear. Honey is very healing. Try unfiltered honey which has all the important nutrients and enzymes.
- Aveeno (colloidal oatmeal) found at the pharmacy is wonderful for dry, itchy skin.
- The lactic acid found in milk baths was what kept Cleopatra’s skin youthful and beautiful. Pour a cup or two of whole milk or powdered milk into your bath.
- Tee tree oil is great for blemishes just dab a little on problem spots
