Recipe for fast and easy broccoli cheese soup

This soup is easy to make, and requires very little ingredients. Fresh broccoli would be best, but the frozen boxed kind works just as well.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

2 Tbsp. butter

1 small chopped onion

6 chicken bouillon cubes

7 cups very warm water

6 cups milk (whole, skim or your choice)

1 lb. Velveeta cheese

1 8 oz. package egg noodles

2 boxes chopped broccoli (or 2 cups chopped fresh broccoli)

Before starting this soup, melt bouillon cubes in 1 cup of very hot water. In a large pot, melt butter and saute the onions. Add bouillon cube mixture. Add the water and the milk. Heat slowly - do not boil. Blend in the velveeta cheese, egg nooodles, and broccoli. Add salt and pepper to taste or other favorite seasoning. Simmer 20-25 minutes
