Recipe for a healthy vegan rootbeer float - just in time for national root beer float day

Are you ready for some rootbeer?

August 6 is National Root Beer Float day. Are you ready for some rootbeer?

If you are hungry for the taste of an old fashioned root beer float, but trying to eat healthy, then this recipe is for you. While not completely guilt free, it is far healthier than the standard rootbeer and vanilla ice cream version.

For the delicious creamy taste of a rootbeer float without the ice cream or dairy, use Silk Extra Vanilla soy milk.

Vegan Rootbeer Float Recipe

  1. Put some ice cubes in a glass and then fill it half full of root beer.
  2. Add Silk Extra Vanilla soy milk to taste.
  3. Pop in a straw and say, "Yummy!"

The taste is quite amazing.  My six year old says its the "goodest drink he ever had".
