Recipe: Delicious and nutritious fall-spiced smoothie

Some mornings, kids just don't have an appetite.  Could be they are tired of the eggs, oatmeal, pancakes shuffle that goes on each week, or they really do have "a stomachache". Whichever it may be, it is most mother's deep-seated, emotionally charged duty to fuel their kid's up before sending them off to school.

Even many adults rush out of the house in the morning, without considering something to get their blood moving. This easy recipe will fit the bill for fuel, nutrient packed, enzyme rich and stomachache calming. To make things truly speedy in the morning, set up all ingredients in your fridge the night before (don't refrigerate canned coconut milk). Also, set out the blender on the counter.

Add coconut milk, milk and cream to blender. Start blender on low, and then add banana (cut up in pieces), sweetener, and raw eggs. Turn up blender to puree everything, and top with a sprinkle or two of nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon.

All the healthy fat in this shake will satiate kids (and feed there brains with needed cholesterol) and adults till lunch. You might even be able to turn down that apple turnover! Enjoy and happy fall!

p.s. I used Native Forest Organic Coconut Milk. Not bad, but there is a link to an even better one in the recipe.
