Recent poll results in three U.S. Senate races

Georgia - If Congressman Jack Kingston wins the GOP nomination (as expected), he will be the slight favorite over Democrat candidate Michelle Nunn. The most recent poll has him leading Nunn by a 43-37 margin. That means there are still a lot of undecided voters out there, so this race is going to be worth keeping an eye on. (The same poll shows the other possible Republican nominee, businessman David Perdue, leading Nunn by a similar margin, 43-38.)

Iowa - Republican State Senator Joni Ernst has a six-point lead over Democrat Congressman Bruce Braley, 48-42, according to a recent Loras College poll. Braley's campaign took a serious hit a few months ago when he openly insulted farmers at an out-of-state fundraiser. Iowa just happens to be the second largest agricultural producing state in the country, behind only California.

Kentucky - U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell leads his opponent, Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes, by seven points, 48-41. A desperate Grimes campaign is now attempting to publicly distance itself from the Obama regime.
