Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has tried his hand at fragrance-making. The singer has released his self-titled debut fragrance for both men and women. Now, Levine is giving fans the chance to obtain a sample of the new scents.
Levine once had a different view on celebrity fragrances. In 2011, he tweeted his borderline disdain for celebrity scents. He wrote, "I also would like to put an official ban on celebrity fragrances. Punishable by death from this point forward."
The Voice coach, however, has now had a change of heart. He recently told WWD that he wanted his fragrance to be different. He said,"I didn’t want it to be another bulls--t celebrity fragrance that I was hocking, that I didn’t believe in. On paper, I’m not a fan of the [genre], but I got excited having conversations with ID Perfumes."
To get a sample of the fragrance, you must 'like' Maroon's official Facebook page. Once you have 'liked' the page, you will then be able to unlock the 'secret' link to the sample.
You must have a Facebook page to receive your free sample. Participants will be asked to register by imputing their name, address, e-mail and DOB. This opportunity is open to U.S. residents only.
The female scent is said to have a 'woody' aroma, while the male scent has a 'husky' aroma.
