On Monday the 28th of April in 2014, Hard Rock Café Baltimore hosted a VIP Rewards Dinner which was an exclusive celebration for their new menu tasting. It was the biggest new menu tasting of this spring at their Baltimore Inner Harbor waterfront location. Who knew one establishment could hold so much yummy grub in one building. Hard Rock Café is a one stop shop for casual dining with everything from festive seasonal to traditional all-America appetizers as well as entrees to include chicken & rib platters, burgers, salads and veggie dishes; and the covered walls with rock and roll memorabilia & live musical performances makes the place grand.

Hard Rock Café Baltimore is located at the Inner Harbor on the waterfront.

The tasting dinner took place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. serving a complimentary heavy four-course meal with non-alcoholic drinks included. Alcoholic drinks were available for purchase. The yummy was flowing from every corner of the building. Whereas, the first course begin with Hard Rock’s festive Nachopalooza meal starter. Now, Nachopalooza consists of tortilla chips piled and layered with three bean mix, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, pico de gallo, jalapenos and green onions, Garnished with sour cream. Yep, my thoughts exactly, it had me too at first glimpse.

Next, we were served starters which range from their signature rockin’ wings, bruschetta, chicken tenders, onion rings and spinach artichoke dip. The portion sizes are huge which means perfect for sharing among guests at the same table.

The alcoholic beverage list seems to suit ladies who love pretty margarita drinks. Most in attendance ordered Margaritas.

For the third course they offered attendees a choice of six entrees with included:

  • Grilled Chicken Argula Salad – unique ingredient included pecans.
  • Hickory-Smoked BBQ Chicken and Ribs Combo - unique ingredient included baked beans.
  • Smoked Beef Brisket Sandwich - unique ingredient included crispy onions.
  • Fiesta Burger - unique ingredient included freshly made guacamole.
  • Tango Burger - unique ingredient included Sloppy Joe mix on top.
  • Grilled Vegetable Sandwich - unique ingredient included grilled portobello mushrooms.

The final course of dessert included Oreo cookie cheesecake, apple cobbler & ice cream, and hot fudge brownie & ice cream.

The coolest part of it all was the festive musical environment with their stage for live musical performances. All of the food, I tasted that evening was amazing. I love the new burger selections at Hard Rock Café, it reminded me of Red Robin with so many unique burger choices. The BBQ Chicken & Rib combo reminded me of Famous Dave’s it included fries, cole slaw and baked beans which, as I mentioned earlier would be perfect for sharing. I loved the healthy Vegan and salad choices on the new Hard Rock menu as well.

You should know, the dinner took place in their VIP room which is draped with James Brown and Jimi Hendrix memorabilia and neon golden & wooden chairs. The VIP room has such a perfect backdrop to really feel like a Rock Star. Oh, did I mention the staff serenaded a guest by singing happy birthday on their musical stage which was VIP viewable via the VIP room. At the end of the evening, all guests were surprised with Hard Rock Café gift bags full of uniquely different Hard Rock swag in each bag such as t-shirts, scarfs and memory books. Talk about a full circle dining and entertainment restaurant!
