Another recall has been announced that many affect some local Denver area daycares. The Basic Rhythms Drum from Step2 has announced a voluntary recall of about 21,000 of these products.
The reason behind the recall is that the plastic clips that are provided to attach the drumsticks to the toy can break. These small pieces them present a choking hazard for small children. This toy has been marketing and geared towards preschool aged children.
These toys were sold by local retailers including Toys R Us and Burlington Coat Factory.
Owners of this toy should immediately remove it from the children's play area and contact Step2 about getting a replacement.
