The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada in conjunction with Fisher-Price (a subsidiary of Mattel) have issued a voluntary recall of Little People Play-n-Go Campsite due to a potential choking hazard.

Fisher-Price received 8 separate reports of the set's "Sonya Lee" character breaking at the waist, revealing small parts and creating a potential choking hazard.

Over 96,000 playsets were sold in the United States with another 14,000 being sold in Canada from October 2009 through August 2010.

Parents are urged to discontinue use of the Sonya Lee character and immediately contact Fisher-Price at (800) 432-5437 to arrange for the exchange of a free replacement figure.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is still requesting that anyone who believes that they have had an injury or accident caused by the Little People Play-n-Go Campsite, either from the above mentioned issue or any other, please contact them by visiting their website.
