Pottery Barn Kids, a division of Williams Sonoma Inc has voluntarily issued a safety recall on all Madeline Bunk Beds sold between July 2009 and March 2010 at Pottery Barn Kids stores.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that the end of the bunk beds could cause an entrapment hazard with the potential for a child to get his or her neck caught between the bed post and the decorative molding. No injuries have been reported to date.
Consumers are encouraged to immediately stop using the product and contact Pottery Barn Kids to arrange for the installation of a repair kit at no charge. Consumers can call toll free 888-779-8692 between 7 a.m. and midnight (PT).
