Rebel Wilson took on a new role Wednesday night and her fans showed up to support her. The entertainer has been seen on MTV and in the movies, but she hit prime time with her new show Super Fun Night on ABC. The premiere of the sitcom got great ratings and on Thursday the star reflected on her fans for the success.
“OMG everyone! Super Fun Night rated over 9 million people last night in North America which deems it a SUCCESS!! Thank you so much!!!! Xoxo,” tweeted Rebel Wilson from her official Twitter account. For a series premiere, the solid numbers are a great start and more people will be tuning in when they hear about the show in the next few weeks.
While the battle of the new television season has a long way to go before the networks decide what will be renewed, the initial reviews of Super Fun Night showcase a strong show that might be around for a while. For Rebel that’s a great sign as she seems to love her new show too!
