Rebecca Romijn 'Skin Wars': Contestants fight for $100,000 cash prize on GSN

Rebecca Romijn's "Skin Wars" is a daring new body-painting series that promises to show plenty of skin while it showcases the talents of ten competing body painters. The gorgeous model and actress will host the upcoming Game Show Network (GSN) offering, but there is no word on whether she will strip down to her own flawless birthday suit and submit herself as a canvas for one of the show's contestants. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely.

Romijn is no stranger to body paint, but fans of the ageless beauty will probably have to resign themselves to seeing Romijn clothed. Otherwise, they could always check her out in blue body paint as Mystique in the first X-Men films. According to a July 14, 2014 report by Oregon Live, the lovely 41-year-old bombshell spent some time at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California for the Television Critics Association 2014 Summer Press Tour just last week where she spoke about--you guessed it--body paint.

Apparently her own blue body paint experience in X-Men left her with colored spots of pigment in some strange places, including behind the ears. It seems likely she found spots of the blue paint in other more sensitive areas, too, but she's not talking.

Rebecca Romijn's "Skin Wars" résumé consists of X-Men (2000), X2: X-Men United (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). In addition to the blue body paint, her modesty was protected by prosthetics. Contestants on the upcoming GSN show will likely wear bikini bottoms and pasties, at the very least, but that remains to be seen. The winner will receive a host of prizes, including $100,000 cash and a year's supply of paint.

When will fans get their first look at GSN's new series hosted by Rebecca Romijn? "Skin Wars" is scheduled to premiere on Aug. 6, 2014.
