Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2013 at NY Fashion Week: Modern, gritty and totally awesome (Photos)

Rebecca Minkoff makes clothes for women who are fiercely independent yet subtly feminine and her signature girly-meets-tomboy style is evident in her Fall 2013 collection presented today at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. Rebecca says the collection has the influence of futuristic and modern shapes with the fearlessness of grunge.

The dark military greens and rich browns splashed with sudden neon green and deep coral build the color landscape for her fall 2013 line. With the meticulous edgy details of zippers, plaid and photon prints and padded and quilted leather Minkoff showcases her vision of modern style that does not lose its feminine flair.

The shearling lined jackets, neutral colorblock top coats with tough leather motto jackets lend the sleek menswear-inspired feel to the collection. Minkoff's fall 2013 collection speaks to her die-hard fans with her signature confident style but it also lures the elegantly inclined with its polished appeal.
