On June 20, Rebecca Minkoff and StyleCaster rolled out phase two of their “Morning After” style competition, calling all fans to upload images of their own morning after looks to StyleCaster.com for the chance to win a Rebecca Minkoff gift card.
During phase one of the contest, Rebecca Minkoff collaborated with StyleCaster to host “The Morning After Event” on June 13 for more than a dozen stylish bloggers in The Hamptons. The event pitted the participating bloggers against each other during the ultimate fashion sleepover. The morning after the sleepover, a morning after style competition ensued, complete with the breakfast of champions, featuring red velvet waffles made by Chopped winner Danielle Saunders.
The concept of this laid-back, summer fun event was inspired by the story of the classic Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Bag (M.A.B). The M.A.B., Rebecca Minkoff’s first offering in her eponymous collection, is designed to carry all of a girl’s essentials (makeup, flats, perfume, etc.), making the transition from a late-night on the town to the morning after as easy as pie.
To celebrate the M.A.B., the marker of the Rebecca Minkoff brand and lifestyle, during “The Morning After Event,” each blogger rocked Rebecca Minkoff outfits, handbags and Morning After Clutches. The kicker? Competing in a “Morning After Walk Style” competition to see who had the best walk and style after a late night of festivities.
Stylish Rebecca Minkoff fans (also known as Minkettes) were invited to vote on the most stylish morning after blogger by “liking” their favorite look at http://on.fb.me/L7D7q8. Those voting were also entered for a “Morning After” winnings, consisting of a Rebecca Minkoff gift card.
The blogger portion of the contest ended yesterday, but the contest is now open to the public on StyleCaster.com. Winner to be announced Monday, June 25.
