Releases from two former "X Factor" finalists have debuted on the U.K. charts for the week ending Dec. 14, 2013.

According to the Official Charts Company (which announced the chart rankings on Dec. 8, 2013), Rebecca Ferguson's second album, "Freedom," debuted at No. 6. "I Hope," the album's first single, has debuted at No. 15.

Meanwhile, James Arthur's "Recovery" has debuted at No. 19 on the U.K. singles chart. "Recovery" is the second single from Arthur's self-titled album.

Ferguson and Arthur each performed these songs on "The X Factor" U.K. on Dec. 1, 2013, which no doubt helped sales for these releases.

Ferguson came in second place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010. Arthur was the winner of "The X Factor" U.K. in 2012.

Meanwhile, One Direction's third album, "Midnight Memories," is No. 1 in the U.K. for the second week in a row. The album is the U.K.'s fastest-selling album of 2013, according to the Official Charts Company.

One Direction came in third place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010.

Elsewhere on the U.K. album chart this week, "The X Factor" U.K. judge Gary Barlow's third solo album, "Since I Saw You Last," drops from No. 2 to No. 3. Robbie Williams, who is Barlow's on-again/off-again group mate in Take That, rises this week on the chart from No. 3 to No. 2 with his solo album "Swings Both Ways."

Meanwhile, a re-release of Olly Murs' third U.K. album, "Right Place Right Time," holds steady at No. 4 for the second week of its release.

Murs came in second place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2009.
