Rebecca Black: Ryan Seacrest lands her a Music Manager

Rebecca Black, thanks to "Idol's" Ryan Seacrest, has gotten a manager with an entertainment firm to move her singing career beyond "Friday."

She hit the music tarmac running just weeks ago with her Ark Music Factory hit, "Friday." Instantly, the song and video became omnipresent all over the Internet.

Was R.Black lip-syncing on Jay Leno? Watch video now.

The simple-lyric song by the 13-year-old commanded a presence on iTunes, coming in at #25 at its highest. But on YouTube, Rebecca Black saw her song capture over 30M views, upstaging Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. Imagine that?

Immediately, "haters" came out of the woodwork, slamming her song as the "worst song ever." Despite the fall-out from her meteoric rise and outlandish comments on Twitter and blogs, she has captured the attention of "American Idol's" Ryan Seacrest.

Seacrest and Simon Cowell were instrumental in getting her "Friday" song its boost. However, it was Seacrest who helped Rebecca Black land a recording deal with a record label.

She was introduced to Debra Baum of DB Entertainment, and a deal was inked. Baum will now serve as her manager, and will be responsible for building on Black's overnight success.

Baum is a seasoned entertainment professional, who has provided music supervision on many feature films like “Heaven’s Rain” and “Powder Blue.”

Now that her career is being professionally managed, thanks to Ryan Seacrest, what type of music will Rebecca Black put out? According to the tween, she wants to put out more dance-tunes. Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, be afraid -- be very afraid.
