Reba McEntire, one of the great ladies of country music, and Credence Clearwater Revival’s legendary singer/songwriter John Fogerty, have been added to the list of presenters at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
According to an announcement by WYRK on April 5, McEntire and Fogerty join an all-star list of presenters including Miranda Lambert, Scott McCreery, Jake Owen and Sheryl Crow. The 48th annual ACM Awards will be hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan.
The list of presenters for the 48th annual Academy of Country Music Awards is impressive, as is the list of performers, which includes joint performances by Brad Paisley and John Mayer. Also in the line-up is a first-ever joint performance by Garth Brooks and George Strait. Brooks and Strait will perform together in a tribute to Dick Clark. Both George Strait and Garth Brooks are winners of The Artist of the Decade Award, which will be changed to the Dick Clark Artist of The Decade Award during tonight’s show.
Other country music artists scheduled to appear on Sunday night’s ACM Awards include Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney. The Academy of Country Music Awards airs live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, April 7 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
