Huntsville rockers Rearview Ghost have a chance to do something a lot of bands would sell their souls for: record an album with the legendary Michael Wagener, who has worked with artists such as Metallica, Skid Row, and Ozzy Osbourne, just to name a few.
Rearview Ghost has already recorded one song with Wagener, their "party song," according to vocalist Josia, entitled "Devil's Backbone." It is obvious that the band and Wagener work very well together in the studio. Wagener could do a lot for Rearview Ghost, adding his personal touch to the magic that the band creates when together. The only problem is that the band needs the rest of the money to get into the studio with Wagener. This is where the fans come in.
Rearview Ghost has created a project page on indiegogo.com, a site set up for individuals who need to raise money, explaining their situation in detail and asking for donations to get them into the studio with Wagener for a mere nineteen days, or less. "Our music is for our FANS and NOT some big corporation," Rearview Ghost writes. "With YOUR help, you are changing how we make music and YOU will forever be part of this album and our RVG family."
Individuals who donate are not walking away empty-handed. The band has created special offers for their donators, perks and limited edition items that can be purchased and the money put towards their twelve-thousand dollar goal.
There are only forty-six days left for them to raise the money. Anyone who is interested in learning more and/or possibly making a donation can go to this link for details. Even if donating is not an option, at least spread the word and help these guys achieve one of their dreams.
