“Reap Eternal Life!”(Galatians 6:8)

“Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” (Galatians 6:8)

Seeds put into the ground yield a crop. Lettuce seeds yields lettuce. Corn seeds produce corn. One should expect a harvest after the kind of seed sown. This is the law of seedtime and harvest. A seed is not only planted, but it must have water, cultivation, and removal of weeds. It cannot be left of its own. It should have protection for proper growth.

Believers in Christ Jesus should have the same understanding about spiritual seeds. One sows to life with obedient actions and thoughts. The Word of God is the seed to righteousness. Disobedience is the seed of death and destruction. Obedience is to be nurtured and cultivated. Prayer and scripture meditation/memorization are ways to cultivated obedience. Disobedience must be avoided. The Holy Spirit facilitates the flow of life and life abundantly. He brings conviction of sin and helps with repentance.

Believer, protect the seed, Word of God, the life of Jesus in you! Prayer and the focus on Scripture are effective tools to cultivate the righteous obedient life!
