XCOR Aerospace will host a free presentation at 6:00 p.m. tonight at the Lancaster Museum of Art and History, 665 West Lancaster Boulevard, Lancaster.
The exhibit, “Free Enterprise: The Art of Citizen Space Exploration,” will showcase XCOR’s EZ-Rocket and explore the political and cultural shift away from federally sponsored expeditions to exploration of space by the private sector.
The Lynx, currently under development, is a suborbital reusable launch vehicle which will carry a pilot and passenger or payload to 100 kilometers above the Earth.
The XCOR presentation will be held in MOAH’s second floor south gallery. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Regular museum hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday with extended hours on Thursday until 8 p.m.
