Reality tv star Kendra Wilkinson: I will tell my son about my drug past

Former Playboy playmate and reality tv star Kendra Wilkinson says she'll come clean about her harrowing drug past when her son is old enough to understand.

Wilkinson, who became a drug addict at age 13, prefers that her 20-year-old son Hank Jr. (with NFL pro husband Hank Baskett) find out about her wild past from her and not from outsiders.

'My Son Will Hear About My Past Anyway'

"The drugs that I went through and Playboy - it's all stuff that he's going to face on his own anyway, so why not talk about it and beat everybody to the punch?" Kendra, 26, tells Australia's News Limited.

Despite having launched her career posing for nude photos, Wilkinson insists she's not comfortable being naked in front of other people.

“To tell you the truth, whenever I used to pose for Playboy I used to get so, so scared and I used to cover up," Kendra recalls.

"I was very proud (of my body), but at the same time I never got used to being naked. I never did and I will never do it again. I don’t even know how I did it in the first place, it's weird, I’m just a weird person, I'm a different creature."

Gained 50 Lbs. While Pregnant

Wilkinson is happy and healthy now, but suffered from severe postpartum depression shortly after giving birth to Hank in December 2009.

The 5'4" Kendra, who has always been fit and athletic, says the difficulty she had losing the 50 pounds she gained while pregnant exacerbated her depression.

Now that Wilkinson has regained her sizzling size 0 bikini body and navigated two years of parenthood, she feels more confident and relaxed.

“Now that I have my body back and I feel good again, I have the perfect amount of balance," she says. "It’s all about finding the balance.”
