Now magazine has published its Reality TV Rich List for 2013, which ranks the estimated fortunes of British stars who became rich and famous through reality TV. Several "X Factor" stars are on the list.
No. 1 on the list is Simon Cowell, the executive producer.creator of "The X Factor" and "Got Talent" shows around the world. Cowell's estimated £225 million fortune also comes from sales of contestants from those shows who are signed to his Syco Music label.
One Direction is No. 3 on the list, with a fortune totaling £20 million for each of the five members of the group. One Direction came in third place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010.
Leona Lewis is No. 7 on the list, with a fortune worth about £12 million. Lewis was the 2006 winner of "The X Factor" U.K.
Alexandra Burke is No. 16 on the list, with a fortune worth about £6.1 million. Burke was the 2008 winner of "The X Factor" U.K.
JLS is No. 19 on the list, with a fortune worth about £6 million. The group came in second place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2008.
All five members of Girls Aloud (a group that was formed in 2002 on "Popstars: The Rivals") are on the list, including former "X Factor" judge Cheryl Cole, who ranks at No. 5 and has a fortune worth about £15 million.
