According to the report, Gunvalson was on a ski run just before the new year got underway when a snowboarder suddenly crashed into her. The "Real Housewives" star fell down hard -- hitting the ground face first -- with her neck "thrashing around in the process."
Despite the bad fall, Gunvalson but managed to pick herself back up and complete the course she was skiing on. When she finished, ski patrol exercised caution after the accident by calling for an ambulance. She was seen in photos standing straight up talking to officials before being strapped onto a stretcher and immediately transported to the hospital for an examination. The doctor determined she suffered a serious case of whiplash.
Vicki Gunvalson said she's recovering well and will see an OC doctor shortly.
The reality star has been active on Twitter and wrote Monday that she's doing a lot of sit-down interviews all day long. Fortunately, her ski accident wasn't worse and she's appears to much better. Over the weekend she tweeted about cleaning closets before meeting up with her family.
