“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Barney made some comments about her friend Gretchen Rossi last week, which made everyone question whether their friendship had hit a rough patch. Not only did Tamra slam Gretchen's singing, but she continuously made fun of her, which wasn't something that Gretchen was expecting. While Tamra denied the accusations, the source that had printed the story revealed that had recorded the conversation. And now, according to a new Radar Online report released on March 13, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Barney is slamming Gretchen once again for handling the situation poorly. She believes that Gretchen should have stood by her side, rather than issue a lengthy statement defending herself.
“I thought the way Gretchen handled the situation was wrong,” Tamra revealed to All Things Real Housewives after reading the statement from Gretchen. “She ran to the press with an overly dramatic statement, she should have talked to me first.”
Tamra revealed that she never meant to hurt Gretchen with her comments, but her comments made everyone question whether they were indeed friends, including Gretchen. Tamra shouldn't be worried about what Gretchen is saying to the press about herself in defense of comments. Instead, she should have understood where Gretchen was coming from.
“I never meant to hurt her feelings,” Tamra reveals, but admits that she hasn't talked to Gretchen after the story went public. “I haven’t talked to her since it all went down last week, but I plan on talking to her in person like an adult.” Well, there is the problem; Tamra doesn't reach out to Gretchen about the original story, so it is no wonder that Gretchen defends herself with a statement.
