“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss was thrilled when she announced that she had gotten a spin-off from the hit show. The show wouldn't follow her in her personal life, like many of the spin-off shows do. Instead, it would be a competitive show, where people would pursue musical dreams. However, it sounds like one season was enough for vieers. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Sept. 5, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss' spin-off show, “The Kandi Factory,” has been cancelled by Bravo and won't be returning for another season.
Burruss herself broke the news on her Twitter account when asked whether the show would be coming back for a second season. Since Burruss devoted much time to her music career, it is surprising that Bravo would cancel the show. Perhaps, viewers of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” are more interested in the show because she shares her personal life with her daughter and future husband, than watching a competitive show about her music career.
Even though Bravo does have some competitive shows, such as “Top Chef,” it sounds like this show was not a hit. What do you think of her show being cancelled?
