“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Stewart may not have known NeNe Leakes prior to filming the show with her, but she had heard about NeNe’s behavior when she gets mad. And she got to see her rude outburst when the women showed up late to NeNe’s dinner, where she ended up sending them away from her home. While some of the women understood why NeNe decided to shut the door on the other women, Porsha said that it ruined the trip a little bit for her. According to a new Bravo blog released on Mar. 5, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Stewart was shocked that NeNe acted the way she did, since all of the women came out to support her.
“We are all super proud of her success and were all more than happy to be there and show our support,” Porsha writes in her blog. “But by the time we got there everything changed. Granted we were late to her dinner, but being stopped in the driveway with a cheese plate? Wow. LOL! We ended up being late, because we didn't want to leave Phaedra and her flight didn't get there until about 10:30 or so. In hindsight maybe we should have just met her there, but at the time sticking together seemed like the right choice.” Perhaps it was an example of bad communication, but one has to wonder why not one person called NeNe to let her know that they would be late.
“I have heard about how NeNe can get upset, but it was pretty intense on that curb seeing it in person. I felt bad, because as a person who loves to host at home, I know how much she probably had done to prepare. At least we were able to apologize and start fresh the next day,” she reveals.
