Lisa Vanderpump, of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” insists her sex drive needs no vitamin boost, as recommended by Suzanne Somers. “I’m running perfectly," she says. "It's working guys. If it ain't broken, don't try and fix it." People previews the reality show on Monday, Jan. 28.
Yolanda Foster, a newcomer to “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” is having some of the gang over to meet Suzanne Somers, 66, and indulge in a little chicken salad. “I just wanted you guys all to meet and I thought it would be fun,” Yolanda tells Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump, with a Malibu view in the background.
Apparently the stars of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” get right down to how a person can live forever (well, almost) and still keep that old sex drive going. Suzanne Somers, former television sex-kitten, has written a book on it, with lots of suggestions involving vitamin pills by the handful.
“I couldn't take 40 pills a day," Lisa says. "There's no way I could swallow that many pills in one day.”
And is the whole thing worth the trouble? Does anyone even want to be sexy past, say, the seventh decade? Lisa Vanderpump is not at all sure.
The Monday night show should fill in a few gaps in the conversation. There might even be a recipe for chicken salad, but not likely. Cooking talent is not a required “Real Housewives” skill set. A functioning sex drive, however, is.
