The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant SUR is the subject of her recent spin-off, Vanderpump Rules, but apparently everyone in the Bravo world is not a big fan of SUR. Star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Peter Thomas, the husband of Atlanta Real Housewife, Cynthia Bailey, visited SUR during a recent trip to Los Angeles and called SUR ghetto.
During his time at SUR, Peter set out the following tweet:
I'm at #SUR right now and it's ghetto
He followed it up by sharing to Lisa directly that two sheriffs had walked in and arrested a white woman--why Peter felt the need to discuss the woman's race is unclear.
Is there a reason Peter is attacking Lisa's restaurant, especially when Ms. Vanderpump has no control over her patrons and their actions? Is it perhaps because Peter is jealous of Lisa's success? Peter is a failed restaurateur with his restaurant and bar, Uptown, failing a few years ago. Since then, Peter has opened a bar and lounger, Bar One, in Atlanta. Could it be that Peter is jealous that SUR, a restaurant and lounge, is the subject of its own spin-off while Bar One only gets the occasional appearance on The Real Housewives of Atlanta?
