Teresa Giudice’s journey towards her decision to make a plea will be the focus of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” on the upcoming episode. For viewers who watched the first look on Friday night, they got to see the reality star repeatedly deny that she was going to prison or taking a plea. According to Bustle on Friday, a judge is still deciding if Teresa will go to jail or if she will be under house arrest as the sentencing hearing is upcoming.
Watching the first few minutes of the episode, viewers immediately understand that Giudice’s cast members are concerned for her. However, it’s Teresa’s lack of emotion when people call about what is being published that leaves viewers feeling uncomfortable. Denying to friends and family that she is taking a plea only four days before actually signing off on a plea deal, the star refutes the tabloid (and mainstream media) reports rumors as false.
Perhaps the most difficult thing to watch is Teresa Giudice’s oldest daughter as she cries because she feels left in the dark about the situation. Teresa appears to not want her children to understand the seriousness of the situation and there is so much denial that she might be going to jail. This lack of concern seems surreal as her daughter listens to conversations with the other cast members knowing that her mother might be in trouble.
Fast forward to the present day and Teresa Giudice along with her husband Joe are still facing going to jail. According to Kpopz on Friday, the Bravo star was looking for sympathy from her cast members, the kids and even the cameras as she was evasive about the decision the star’s make about their legal case.
Watching Teresa not discuss her plight is very frustrating for Bravo viewers. Just in the first look, it was obvious that the cameras are there to see if someone will engage Teresa and her family about the situation. Unfortunately, all that is seen is Teresa Guidice lying about a plea deal to people she knows. As we all have seen what happens to Teresa as it played out in the media, it’s a fact that she did take a plea deal.
Joe and Teresa Giudice’s sentencing is September 23, 2014.
