'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star supports 'Jersey Shore'

As it turns out, not everyone in the state of New Jersey is hating on "Jersey Shore" for the reputation Snooki, The Situation, and company are giving the state. In a new interview with People Magazine, Caroline Manzo of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" actually seems to believe that some people are taking what we see on the small screen a little bit too seriously:

“Everybody has their opinion of the Jersey Shore just like they have an opinion about our show. They’re young kids doing their thing.

“We have to understand that they don’t represent the state, they don’t represent the culture. They represent themselves. If they make a fool of themselves, they’re just making a fool of themselves. Do your thing.”

Manzo is not the first reality star from the state who has pledged support for the MTV show -- not only did Buddy Valastro from "Cake Boss" actually say that he has no problem with the show, but he worked on a cake for Snooki and taped it for an episode of his TLC sensation.
