It is no secret that “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is one of the most dramatic shows in Bravo’s list of hit shows because most of the stars on the show are indeed all family members. And it is no secret that some of the stars have purposefully walked away from family relationships, because of the drama that comes with filming the show and being in the spotlight. And now, according to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report released on Feb. 10, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo is blaming the show for tearing apart her family.
“I’m not thrilled with what the show did with my relationships with a few of my family members,” she revealed in an interview recently, “but I’m confident one day when the show is over, we’ll be back to normal. We’re waiting to see this pass.” Her brother Chris Laurita and her sister Caroline Manzo have both said they would be willing to make up with Dina, even though she is close to Teresa Giudice. Of course, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo herself left the show during the second season because it was too dramatic for her.
“I don’t regret it, and I’m so happy I did leave. I had to be true to myself. Everyone thought I was crazy walking away from a super-successful show, and all the red carpets you’re invited to. But it wasn’t me. I wasn’t going home from work every day happy — and that, to me, is very important,” she revealed. One has to wonder why Dina isn’t questioning whether people have changed, like fame taking over personalities on the show. What do you think went wrong?
