"Real Housewives of New Jersey" season 6 has been given the green light by Bravo. Teresa Giudice will return, as well as Melissa Gorga. Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo are leaving while Kathy Wakile will be on the show part-time. All of this is according to RadarOnline Oct. 16.
Teresa reportedly didn't take part in negotiations on her contract renewal. Being so desperate for money, she took the first offer that came along. Apparently the deal she signed made her the second highest-paid star in the "Real Housewives" franchise.
Newcomers to "RHONJ" next year have been named in the report. They are Nicole and Teresa Napolitano. There's another rumor that Amber Marchese may also join the show.
A source said since the show had reached darker territory in season 5, that it was important to bring in new people and lighten things up. At least the network has taken notice of how far things were taken in season 5 with so much feuding, fighting, and crisis going on.
Fireworks are said to be surrounding an event for Dino Manzo's Ladybug Project when filming gets underway for season 6 in a few weeks.
