Holy catfight! During the two-part “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion that starts tonight on Bravo, there will be several family secrets revealed. Probably the biggest surprise of all is that Caroline Manzo and her sister and RHONJ alum Dina Manzo are no longer on speaking terms. The two sisters were inseparable during the first two seasons of the series and are even married to brothers.
So what went wrong? Apparently the feud between Teresa Giudice and Caroline has caused the family to take sides. Dina is Team Giudice and has stopped speaking to her sister as a result. According to Caroline, she believes the rift may be irreparable.
Also, involved in the family feud is Caroline’s sister in law Jacqueline Laurita who is also a cast member of the show. Jacqueline refused to attend the reunion due to recent events that involved in a Twitter war of words with Teresa.
The problems between Caroline and Teresa seemed to be festering throughout the season but came to a head during the season finale when Teresa said unkind words about Caroline in her new cookbook. Some of the insults included saying Caroline is 1/16 Italian and is as Italian as “The Olive Garden”.
During the reunion, it’s not only Caroline that Teresa finds herself up against. Her ongoing feud with sister in law Melissa Gorga is on full display as well. Also, Melissa is questioned by host Andy Cohen about her relationship with former cast member Danielle Staub. Danielle infamously mentioned Gorga during the reunion show last season that sent Teresa into a rage.
