Tonight's Bravo episode of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" was titled "Hair-Binger of Doom."
As the episode opens Melissa welcomes Teresa and her kids to her home. Teresa brought cupcakes, and the kids are downstairs checking out the recording studio. Melissa got the mock-up of her new book. The cover has her picture, but Teresa wonders where her brother is, if her book is all about having a healthy marriage? Strange how the rumors are out about her cheating, just as the book is ready to be released. When Teresa had dinner with her friends, Melissa’s friend, Jan was there and mentioned that Melissa cheated on Joe.
At the airport, Jacqueline arrives from California after her surgery. Her mother is with her as she comes home to greet her husband and son CJ. Nick is inside and has been asking for her the entire time she was gone.
Kathy and Richie are shopping together. Richie got a text from Joe Gorga to go to a cigar bar with him that night. As they approach the bakery counter at the supermarket, Richie tells the saleslady that Kathy is looking for a job. Her cannoli business is really booming, and she has been on a shopping network twice. The last thing she needs is another job, but Richie continues his obnoxious ways. When will he realize that everyone is not in tune with his style of humor?
At the cigar bar, Chris, Richie and Joe Gorga are having a guy’s night. Chris wants to have a welcome home party for Jacqueline, now that she is back home. Joe wants ideas from the guys for Melissa’s birthday too. Richie suggests he give her a break from Tarzan, even though he admitted to Chris that she was texting one time during sex. Chris suggested taking a spa vacation with the entire group, even Joe and Teresa. He suggested Arizona with horseback riding and more fun. Since Lake George, they are all family once again.
At Caroline and Al’s Hoboken apartment, the kids are there helping her decorating when Albert walks in before he is leaving for work. Lauren knows that her parents’ marriage is old-school, but she likes being in command of her life and having her own money.
At dinner with Vito, Lauren and he start talking about getting engaged. She could not wait when they started dating; now, she has a business and their relationship has changed. She asked him if he was ready to marry her when he was 24, and he replied no. Now she is 24 and is not ready to marry him. He asked her if they could move in together, and she told him that his parents would never approve. So right now the relationship remains the same.
Joe and Melissa are out to dinner together, and he tells her about his conversation with the guys. She did not seem too happy that everyone would be coming, especially when he mentioned Teresa and Joe. Suddenly, the hookah restaurant is filled with the entire gang, and Joe Gorga mentions the spa vacation, and everyone agrees that it is a great idea. When the belly dancer struts by, everyone is in a partying mood.
Outside the house, Joe and Melissa are having fun with the kids when Teresa calls her. She is releasing her hair care product line called Milania, and wants her to come and confront her friends Jan and Penny. Joe wants to come there too, and wishes he was a girl just to confront them with her.
Kathy and Caroline are together talking about their husbands. Kathy is talking about her having Richie around all the time, as Caroline has the opposite with Albert.
Melissa is meeting with her friend Maria, the other woman she had lunch with when the girls had their lunch date. Jan was the other person, the one who is spreading rumors about her affair. Maria is surprised that Jan would do such a thing,
Milania is driving Teresa crazy, and now everything she does. Audrianna mimics as she tries to get ready for the product launch. Milania is the name of the product line, because it is the one-word Teresa says most during the day.
At Kathy’s house, she is making more cannolis. Rich wants to know why she is not at the test kitchen. She confesses that she is not comfortable there, and although she mentioned it to him, she was not happy that he went behind her back and leased the place.
At the Milania presentation, Teresa looks awesome. As her friends arrive, it is a gala affair. Melissa and Joe arrive, and Jan is with Kim D. When Kim D came over to talk to Teresa, she also again hoped that Melissa and her will let bygones be bygones. Jan came over the congratulate Teresa and confronted Melissa that she had bad things to say after Jan met with her friends. Melissa told her that what she said about her meeting her ex outside a sushi bar and saying that she was a bad mother, was inappropriate and untrue. Although Teresa told Melissa that she had her back, she never said a word. Then a woman named Penny, who was also there the night Teresa was out with Kim D and friends, along with Jan and some others, was confronted by Melissa. Melissa does not even know her, and she is only an acquaintance of Teresa’s. Through this, Teresa continued to state that they were not friends. Penny told Melissa that she was asked questions about Melissa. She owns the salon where Teresa met Angelo, the guy who said Melissa danced at his club. She did clear up the fact that Teresa had nothing to do with the mess, as Teresa continued to try to clear her name in the matter. Joe feels that she tried a bit too hard to clear her name, and it made her look even more guilty.
