Real Housewives of DC candidate crashes White House State Dinner

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was the guest of honor at this year's White House State Dinner, but today some unlikely guests seem to be dominating the headlines.

Michaele and Tareq Salahi managed to slip right past the Secret Service at this weeks White House State Dinner.  The couple who are candidates for the upcoming Bravo reality show The Real Housewives of DC mingled with the likes of Vice President Joe Biden, Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, and even came in contact with President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

Ed Donovan a spokesperson for the Secret Service has said that President Barack Obama was never under any danger because the Salahis did infact go through a security screening, as did all the other 300 guest attending.

Michaele Salahi is a former Red Skins Cheerleader who seems to dabble in modeling. Salahi is now a candidate for The Real Housewives of DC the newest addition to Bravo's Real Housewives franchise. There is no doubt that this national attention has now boosted her chances of being on the shows cast(if she has not already been casted). Michaele's husband Tareq is the president of America's Polo Cup, and is also the owner of Oasis Winery.

I'm a bit surprised that Bravo chose DC to be their new city for their successful Real Housewives series I would have thought they would have come to Miami first.  Maybe DC is the new reality show hot spot Mtv's The Real World is also being filmed in the  nation's capitol.
