'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills': Taylor Armstrong defends book on 'Today'

Earlier Monday, we published a story featuring some excerpts from Taylor Armstrong's upcoming book "Hiding From Reality" -- and now, we have a new interview featuring the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star on "The Today Show."

So why has she decided to publish this memoir about her past relationship with Russell Armstrong so far? Taylor explained that she really wanted to help other people who are going through similar problems in abusive relationships:

“I got out way too late, and I’m hoping that by other people hearing my story, they might decide to get out sooner.”

Armstorng's book is the second from "The Real Housewives" to come out in the past several months -- we have already seen Kyle Richards promote her book "Life Is Not a Reality Show."
