A heart-wrenching family crisis will be aired on "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in season 4, according to spoilers released by RadarOnline Sept. 9. Kim Richards has granted permission for Bravo executives to air the drama surrounding the aftermath of one of her daughters experiencing a psychiatric problem.
The good news is an insider with the show said Kim's daughter will not be featured on the show, but identified at that time. As of now, it's unclear which of the four children of Kim's it could be. They all range in age from 18 to 20. What viewers will see on "Real Housewives," is Kim dealing with the fallout and how her family copes with it.
Back in July some neighbors allegedly saw one of Kim's daughters roaming the street naked and babbling loudly. The young woman was taken away on involuntary psychiatric hold because it was believed she was a danger to herself or possibly others.
“Kim now wants to raise awareness about mental health issues, including depression and bi-polar disorder and will probably go public with how it has impacted her family,” a source close to production said.
In the meantime, Kim is said to still be sober and determined to get her daughter the treatment she needs during this crisis.
Is it right that Kim is allowing this kind of family matter on a reality show?
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 4 airs this fall on Bravo Monday nights.
