Is Sheree Whitfield coming back to "Real Housewives of Atlanta" for the next season? If rumors surrounding "RHOA" are true, then the original housewife might be making a comeback. Sister 2 Sister reported on Thursday that the Atlanta housewife might be making her return in order to shake things up a bit on the Bravo hit reality TV show.

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" is coming down from their highest rated season yet. The Atlanta women are drawing more viewers than any other housewives franchise. Even with that, heads must roll and thinks must be shaken up.

There are rumors that Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams will not be returning. Both rumors had been pretty strong throughout most of the season due to boring plot lines for each. Porsha started heating up though toward the end and really took off after the Kenya Moore beating during the "RHOA" reunion show. It is unclear if Porsha's popularity was too little, too late or if she is gone due to the fight itself.

Cynthia is a different case. Even when she tried to drum up so on-screen drama the sparks just didn't fly. Even with the alleged ambush on NeNe Leakes during the reunion show there was no excitement.

After the reunion show aired, NeNe posted and then quickly deleted a text message from Cynthia Bailey that made it look like they had planned what they would say during the segment that discussed the altercation between Cynthia Bailey and husband Peter Thomas and their longtime friend NeNe.

So will Bravo be bringing back some old housewives to fill the void? It looks very possible in the case of Sheree Whitfield. She was invited to Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker's wedding last month and has been scene much more recently running in housewife circles.

If Sheree is to come back to "Real Housewives of Atlanta," she will be only the second housewife in the history of all Bravo "Real Housewives" shows to be brought back. The first was Dina Manzo.

Fans have been hounding Sheree Whitfield to know if she will be returning to "RHOA" but she is staying silent. Of course she is though because if she was coming back, her contract would prohibit her from making that information public until much later. When asked on Twitter about her possible comeback, Sheree responded by saying, "Its been an awesome day! Things r looking good…[sic]"
