"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss started out in the entertainment industry as a member of the all girls group "Xscape." Recently Kandi was questioned about her connection to Ivy Couch a star on the TLC network new show "Sisterhood." According to S2S Magazine on Thursday, Jan. 3 Kandi took to Twitter in an attempt to explain Ivy Couch's involvement with the group “Xscape.”
The 1990s R&B group "Xscape" consisted of sisters LaTocha Scott and Tamika Scott, Kandi Burruss and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle. The group is well-known for the R&B platinum hit singles "Just Kickin' It" and "Understanding."
“Sisterhood” fans who watched the debut show on Tuesday night found out that Ivy Couch had some type of connection. However, fans could not figure out Ivy Couch's involvement with "Xscape." Kandi sent out a tweet to clear up any misunderstandings about Ivy Couch's involvement with “Xscape.”
"Got a lot of tweets bout Ivy from #SisterHood. She never was on any Xscape albums. Xscape was gonna reunite without me & she was my replacement," Kandi explained.
Kandi still has another small connection to TLC's show “Sisterhood.” Her current boyfriend Todd Tucker worked behind the scenes as a producer.”
"I gotta go home & watch SisterHood on TLC. My baby @Todd167 was the line producer for the show," Kandi tweeted earlier that night.
