"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss is making headlines as she weds TV producer Todd Tucker. As reported by Wetpaint on April 4, Burruss and Tucker were married in what was described as a beautiful ceremony in Georgia.
The guest list for the Burruss/Tucker wedding was short. According to Kandi Burruss, not even all the housewives would be in attendance. Rumor has it that Kim Zolciak didn't make the cut. However, Mama Joyce was said to be in attendance even though she has been very vocal about her dislike of Todd Tucker.
According to a report, Tucker pulled Mama Joyce aside just before the wedding and tried to mend fences with Kandi's opinionated mother. He wanted to ensure the protective parent that he wasn't after Kandi's money. Although Mama Joyce will probably always have her eye on him the way any mother would, she has to respect a man who would stand up for himself and his wife.
Todd and Kandi met on the set of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" while she was filming. Tucker formerly worked on the production side of the hit Bravo reality series. Todd asked Kandi to marry him in 2013, only after gaining permission from her 11-year old daughter Riley.
