On the heels of Nene Leakes announcing her engagement, her co-star Kandi Burruss has reason to celebrate as well. A rep for Burruss has confirmed to 'People' magazine that she is engaged to Todd Tucker, her beau of over a year who is currently appearing with her on this season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta"
Tucker who worked behind the scenes of the series, was introduced to Burruss through cast member Phaedra Parks. Their relationship has blossomed both on and off screen. During the season premiere of the show, Burruss and Tucker were moving in together into a new home. She also talks frequently on the show about starting a family and eventually settling down with Tucker.
Burruss was previously engaged to Ashley Jewell in 2009 who was also featured on her first season of "Real Housewives". Jewell passed away shortly after the couple split but remained close. She is also mom to 11 year old daughter Riley from a previous relationship.
No word on if the proposal was filmed for the series that is currently airing Sunday nights on Bravo, Cox Cable channel 50.
