Reality star Kandi Burruss is now a married woman. According to the New York Daily News on April 6, Burruss married TV producer Todd Tucker this past Friday in a beautiful ceremony in Atlanta.

As fans that follow Burruss on the show know, the pair met on the set of the Bravo reality series back in 2011. Tucker, who worked behind the scenes of “RHOA”, starting being seen onscreen during the 2012 season. After seen their romance blossom, fans soon learned that the two were engaged.

Burruss, also known for her early success as a member of the R&B group Xscape, expressed her excitement about her marriage to Tucker in an interview with In Touch.

“This is one of the best days of my life. I never imagined that I would marry my best friend. Todd’s been that to me.”

The marriage comes just a few years after Burruss’ previously engagement to Ashley Jewell, who died in 2009. The 37-year-old singer/songwriter has expressed her pain and strength after losing Jewell both on the show and off camera.

So meeting Tucker was a blessing for Burruss. He cured her loneliness and on Friday became her storybook ending.

“To have just had the wedding of my dreams, it’s all been so beautiful.”
